Peg brings over 36 years of experience in Clinical Mental Health, Social Work, and the medical fields. She is on the verge of completing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with only two courses remaining for her licensure. Peg holds a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University, specializing in Individual and Family Studies/Psychology with a minor in Communications. Her extensive background includes diverse roles such as an EMT, and work in Children, Youth & Families, adoption, and foster care. Her breadth of expertise and dedication enriches every aspect of her work.

Peg has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient treatment settings, specializing in trauma-informed care and co-occurring mental and substance use disorders. Her background in family, group, and individual counseling has given her a comprehensive understanding of individuals, families, mental health, daily life, conflict resolution, and living life to the fullest.

Peg's specializations in trauma, dependencies, and dual diagnosis reflect her passion for helping individuals overcome significant challenges and reclaim their lives. Committed to continuous learning and professional growth, she utilizes various therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Art Therapy. She also encourages mindfulness practices.
