Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)
Outpatient treatment can be an invaluable step on your journey to recovery. While in this type of program, clients can reinforce the healthy coping skills they learn while living at home and taking care of daily responsibilities.

What Is An IOP Program?
An IOP program treats mental health, addiction, and other issues. You can attend an IOP while working and going to school.

During IOP, clients will do the following:
-
Group therapy sessions
-
Individual therapy
-
Life skills classes
-
Support groups
-
Peer Support
-
Medication Management
IOP programs also offer courses to address the issues that cause addiction. These courses might include topics like:
-
Trauma education
-
Anger Management
-
Emotional regulation
-
Relapse prevention
-
Family and community
-
Self-discovery
Determining the most suitable treatment for individuals hinges on their specific requirements. An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) could be optimal for those transitioning from inpatient care, enabling them to reintegrate into their daily routines while receiving comprehensive support.
For individuals who require substantial assistance but prefer flexibility over the confines of an inpatient regimen, an IOP may offer the ideal balance of support and independence

Access to care begins with an assessment to identify the treatment approach that could be most beneficial in treatment. It is important for us to get to you know so that we can tailor your ideal treatment plan.
Length of IOP TREATMENT
The average length of time in IOP treatment is approximately 12 weeks. However, because we individualize each treatment plan, it is best to discuss with your primary clinician in order to establish an ideal plan for your concerns.
