Trisha joins KTC with over 15 years of dedicated experience to the field of social work, demonstrating a commitment to helping individuals and families navigate various challenges. Over the years, Trisha has worked with a wide range of people, from individuals battling substance abuse to families navigating the complexities of the child welfare system, to survivors and perpetrators of sexual abuse.

Her expertise lies in trauma-informed care, with a specialization in assisting survivors of traumatic experiences. Trisha adopts an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from her extensive training in methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), the Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR), and parts work. This versatile approach allows her to tailor treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each individual she serves, whether they are children or adults.
Trisha earned her Master's degree in Social Work from the prestigious University of Chicago and holds licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in Maryland, further distinguished by a Board-approved supervisor designation.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Trisha finds solace and rejuvenation in various pursuits. She is an avid runner, finds enrichment in the latest fiction novels, cherishes moments spent riding horses, and treasures quality time with her loved ones.
