Allison Gidusko
Therapist-Intern
Allison Gidusko is a trauma-informed, holistic-minded therapist dedicated to helping clients find healing and empowerment through their personal narratives. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing into her practice, but her true passion lies in Narrative Therapy—guiding clients to tell their stories and collaboratively rewrite the next chapter of their lives. In addition to these approaches, Allison incorporates mind-body interventions such as yoga therapy, somatic experiencing, and breathwork to support overall well-being.

Allison earned her graduate degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College, graduating summa cum laude. With years of experience as a family therapist, she holds specialized training in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy. Her background includes working with diverse populations, from families in structured therapy settings to individuals in grant-funded inner-city counseling programs. Additionally, she has a deep understanding of the connection between chronic medical conditions and mental health, offering compassionate support to those navigating both physical and emotional challenges.

Outside of her work as a therapist, Allison enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, spending quality time with her family—both human and animal—and embracing the restorative power of nature.
**Allison is currently completing the final requirements for her Maryland licensure.
